I've been going to the Firestone Sport Clips for over 5 years, because both the staff and the service are great. I have been getting my hair cut by Nikki for the majority of those 5 years, but have gotten great cuts from several other stylists as well (Ashley comes to mind). I initially came to appreciate Nikki due to her approach. My first time in her chair, she listened, which can be a rarity in the world of stylists. She took the time to understand the way I wanted my hair done, which deviated from a standard fade of the time. I changed to a more aggressive <not-quite-a-mohawk-but-similar> style, and she again listened/heard what I was wanting, and then delivered. She became and has remained my favorite, because she is thorough, detail oriented, fun, never gives a bad cut and has a great personality and demeanor. I prefer consistency in the quality of my haircuts, and that is best obtained by finding and keeping with the same stylist. So, I will stay with Nikki as long as she is around and cutting hair. My first year living in Firestone, I had gone through a couple of different stylists at this location, as they apparently moved on/up/out, which can be common in their industry. I am a little older and know from experience that dedication, commitment, longevity, etc. is tough to come by in the hair cutting/styling industry, in general, and for a myriad reasons. Nothing lasts forever, but it has been a comfort and pleasure getting to know Nikki as a stylist and person.
